Accessibility

Conformance target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Last updated September 27, 2026.

Our goal

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We want anyone to be able to read it, get around it, and reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we have done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link.
  • Text and controls meet the WCAG contrast minimums on white and navy backgrounds.
  • Body text is never smaller than 16 pixels and the site reflows to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Images have text alternatives. Decorative photos and video are hidden from screen readers.
  • The background video is silent and is turned off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
  • There are no forms. Every action is a phone call or a text message.
  • Pages are checked with axe DevTools and Lighthouse, plus keyboard and screen reader passes.

Known limitations

  • Review links go to Google and Yelp, whose pages we do not control.
  • The Wilson Veterans Program link goes to a separate website.
